Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is processed when you use wonderweekscalc.com, why, and the choices you have. Last updated: 4 November 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The site is operated by the Wonder Weeks Calculator operator. For any privacy question or request, contact mail@llkr.kr.

2. Information you enter

To build your calendar you enter a date and, optionally, a nickname for your baby. These values are stored in cookies in your browser (ww_y, ww_m, ww_d and ww_n) and appear in the address of your calendar page so that the calendar opens again when you return or share the link. We recommend using a nickname rather than a full real name.

The temperament check runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent to our server.

3. Home-screen icon images

If you choose to make a home-screen icon from a photo, the image is resized and stored on our server so that the icon can be shown, and its address is saved in a cookie (ww_img). A short-lived session cookie protects the upload, and a hashed form of your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated uploads. Stored icon images currently have no automatic deletion date; you can ask us to delete one at any time.

4. Language preference

The site stores your chosen language in a cookie (lang). If your browser language is Korean, you may be directed to our Korean service at wonderweeks.kr; your baby’s date, nickname and icon are not passed along.

5. Server logs

Like most websites, our web server records technical information such as the requested address, time, IP address and browser type. These logs are used to keep the service running and secure.

6. Analytics

The site uses Naver Analytics to understand how pages are used, for example which pages are visited and where visitors come from. This service may use cookies and similar technologies, and the information is processed by Naver under its own privacy policy. We use the statistics only to improve the site.

7. Advertising

Some content pages, such as the leap guides and these information pages, show advertising from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads and measure their performance, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. The calculator screens do not load advertising.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s Ad Settings. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising is used.

8. Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to respond and keep them only as long as needed for that purpose.

9. Your choices and rights

You can clear the saved calendar at any time with the reset option in the menu, or by deleting this site’s cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then stop working. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information about you; contact us and we will help where we are able to identify the data concerned.

10. Children

The site is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children to use themselves. Please do not send us personal information about your child beyond what the calculator needs.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
